SEM Applications Associate.
Position Description: Microbeam Technologies Incorporated is seeking an individual to conduct analysis and develop applications for fuels and related materials from combustion and gasification systems. The work involves the analysis of materials using scanning electron microscopy and x-ray microanalysis that are aimed at iminimizing the impacts of fuel derived impurities on the performance of combustion, gasification, and environmental control systems. The tasks include sample preparation, sample analysis, data manipulation, and report preparation. Some travel will be required.
Requirements: The position requires a four year degree in either chemistry, geology, materials science, or related field. Advanced computer skills preferred (spreadsheet macros and/or computer programming (C++)). Good oral and written communication skills required.
